Harefield Launderette & Dry Ceaning Centre

I have been a regular user of this laundrette and found unlike the previous comment the owner Waz to be very helpful. In fact I was actually in the laundrette when this lady came in. Waz explained to her that her washing was wringing wet and that she had in the past caused problems with the spinner due to weight and he'd had to have it repaired. He politely asked her to wring her washing out to reduce the weight. The lady concerned was the one who first raised her voice which no doubt led to the confrontation. As for Waz following her out to her car, he was still trying to explain his reasons but she wouldn't listen and threatened to report him (don't know who too?). Sad that someone should post such a poor review when in fact it was such a minor issue.

Very disappointing and upsetting experience I’ve been a regular customer at the laundrette for around 3/4 years usually visiting twice a week, but after my most recent visit, I won’t be returning. The man who was working there asked me to leave ( Saturday 1st November) claiming that my clothes were “too wet” to use the spinner and that this was the reason it was breaking. I found this confusing and unfair, especially as I’ve seen him regularly fill the spinner right to the top for other loads. When I questioned him - as I’m paying for the service and have always used the spinner - he became extremely rude, raised his voice, and continued shouting at me in front of other customers. He followed me outside to my car, still shouting, which was very intimidating and upsetting as a woman on my own. The laundrette itself is not well kept when he’s there, the place is often messy and dirty, I’ve seen clothes dropped on the floor, and there are times when customers are left waiting because he’s disappeared into the back. He is often on his phone all the time whilst supposedly working and I have had to ask him not to swear at one point as my children were in the laundrette. After years of being a loyal customer, I’m really disappointed to be treated this way it’s a shame, but I now feel unable to go back because of how I was spoken to and made to feel.

I have been using this laundrette for years it is convenient for me and works out cheaper for me than doing laundry at home the new dryers are amazing !! Ii very rarely have to iron which is a bonus The staff are lovely and there's allways someone to chat to

Very good laundrette. I’ve been going for the last couple months since my machine packed in. Works out cheaper using laundrette. The machines are clean and in very good working order. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Good opening times, gets bit hectic at time, weekends as you would expect. I would fully recommend this laundrette, I travel 10-15mins to get there even though there a laundrette 2mins up the road from my house.
