Fabulous place, ordered a large batch of fresh cream cakes and the owner provided me a significant discount (he didn't have to). Cakes are delightful and all the family and friends are impressed. Will be returning shortly. Thank you.

Excellent proper bakery . Excellent bread and t cakes and a good selection of cakes and buns. Also do good sandwiches hot and cold and a range of pasties. Good quick service. Also have a stall in Morley market near the butchers.

Very disappointed. Got these tum truffles today and the first bite got me in shock as inside the truffle was mould!

Absolutely fantastic food and people. I wanted to make some mince pies for my son so I asked how them how they make their mince pies, the baker at Charnocks could not have been more helpful and informative. 11/10 absolutely fabulous.

I visited Charnocks a few days ago wanting to buy scones with jam and cream on. There were only plain scones on display so the lovely man in the shop said he would see what he could do if he had any cream left. He made them up with loads of jam and cream and they were gorgeous, I won't be buying my bakery anywhere else in future. This is the personal service you get if you shop local and their vanilla slices are delicious too!
