Had a fantastic experience at the shop! The owner was incredibly helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions, making sure my daughter and I felt confident about caring for her new bearded dragon. We really appreciated the detailed advice and friendly/funny approach. We will definitely be making this our regular stop for Barnacle's Bugs! We’ve just gotten a new crested gecko from here! The guy in the shop was super helpful and gave us all the information we needed to give our little guy the best life! Recently had a really great experience with Jordan and his reptile shop Peculiar Pets, I absolutely reccomend this place in a heartbeat! I bought a royal python from Jordan after driving from Sheffield to look around and find the perfect one to be my new child. I fell in love with a Fire Yellowbelly Clown and after a couple of visits to hold and get to know the snakes temperament, I put down a deposit. Jordan made this process really easy as some shops can be funny about multiple visits and handling in store but I didn't experience that here. Jordan helped give me great information to set up the Viv for him and helped me when I was experiencing temperature issues with advice that resolved this. When I ended up unwell in hospital Jordan didn't pressure me to pay anymore money than the deposit id placed and didn't rush me to collect when I was unwell. Jordan is friendly, gives great advice, has fantastic reptile knowledge and sells beautifully kept healthy snakes. I'm so in love with my new baby Sprout and I'm sure Jordan will hear from me again if I think of any other questions or if I need to expand my snake family 🤣

I’ve got so many of my reptiles from this shop, always in the best shape and condition!! I always enjoy having a good chat and learning new things when I come in!! This is the only pet shop i will come to as i know for a fact the animals are well loved and cared for. Jordan is always there when i need any help or advice which i really appreciate and he even helps me with my rescues ! Which just shows how great of a person he is. I highly recommend this shop as I do to everyone and anyone who mentions reptiles !

Just collected our very first snake a Royal Python and our buying experience was amazing. Great prices in store and the staff take time to explain everything to you. Very friendly atmosphere I would recommend you take a visit here!
