I was blown away with this place. I booked it on a whim one afternoon for my 3 yr old grandchild. For £3 I wasn't expecting too much, but it's actually amazing worth the money. It was easy to keep the little one entertained for a good long while. It felt very safe and secure. And it's a really good size. I wish I had an oppurtunity to go play on the larger area called tag. It looked so much fun. There is a small sensory room for babies, an area for 3s and under and a large area for 7s and under. The snacks were reasonably priced. They also serve food which I didn't buy, but did see what looked like an amazing stone baked pizza being enjoyed by a family we were chatting with. I would definitely recommend this for an out of school activity for all families.
Visited on a Sunday morning at 10am, with a toddler who’s just started walking. When I first arrived it was great, but then within 15 minutes the toddler section was full of 5+ year olds throwing themselves around, then running into the baby sensory section too. Leaving all the gates open, basically be rowdy and ruining the area for toddlers and babies. I know it’s busy, but it wouldn’t take much for a member of staff to check these areas every 30 mins at busy times, parents should also be more involved but some smirked at me when I asked if their kids could play in the big section.
We visited today as the weather was terrible and wanted something indoors. We expected it to be busy due to the weather so we looked at the sessions and chose the quietest which was the last of the day. When we arrived it was bedlam, no tables available and hundreds of people. The stompers section was overflowing with children who weren't supervised which meant the pre walker section was filled with walking children and they were throwing items and running around which meant my crawling baby couldn't play safely. At one point a boy (maybe 5/6) built a tower out of foam blocks and jumped onto them from a ledge sending the blocks, and him, flying into us. I complained to the manager who was helpful but said as it was parental supervision there was nothing he could do. They also couldn't offer a refund as we had booked online. It would help if they ran it in sessions with closed gaps so that people can't overstay and also if they had staff dedicated to doing walk throughs of the area ensuring everything and everyone was safe
Visited for the first time - ticked all the boxes for us - something for the older ones, something for the little ones, and cuppas for us mums! The online booking system almost foiled me but staff were really helpful about it. The booking system also meant it wasn’t too crazy busy as these places can get - even tho it’s school hols. The stompers section was pretty much what you’d expect for a soft play, the addition of the wrist band made it a bit more interesting for our 6yo. Our 12 yos are obviously way too old for soft play but they loved the tag x experience and said they’d definitely like to come back and do it again!
Thank you so much Tag X team for making my son's birthday party a huge success. Very helpful staff on site, great pizza, loads of fun for the kids.. unique and challenging for older kids and parents too. Only downside was the chips...not very good quality. Apart from that..it was a superb experience. Cheers
