It's a really lovely place to spend a day or afternoon. Lots for the little ones to keep them active. The woods are brilliant so many big old trees and plants to look at. You can picture the history of this place as your walking especially through the woods upto bagshaw museum. I walk there from Morley with my children and they think it's great. The only let down is the children's platy park. It could do with a facelift and a clean as it's looking a little run down and some gates so little ones can't escape and dogs can't venture in but still other than this I will keep on coming and enjoying our family time there.

Beautiful park with a play area. It's got a duck pond with plenty of ducks/swans. The ducks are always happy to be fed! There is a short walk up to Bagshaw museum.
