She really does! I’m a returning customer, who isn’t very confident in respect of my physique, but I have no need to worry with Emily. She actually understands women, as well as bra’s and their fitting. The fact that she doesn’t need to measure is a testament to her skill and years of working in this trade (it’s actually not unusual the only time I’ve ever been measured is in high street stores not boutiques). But her manner is gentle, she’s not pushy, and she knows her stock. As for expense, I’m a believer that you get what you pay for. I came away with 4 well fitting, comfortable bras, that did exactly what I asked for, because Emily actually listens. It’s worth every penny and more. So I’ll be back. Maybe I might venture in for a better fitting swimming costume, or pjs, she has lovely stock, but more importantly I want to go back and buy from a local shop that’s serving customers extremely well, she deserves our support (might be a pun there!).

Owning a ladies clothing boutique it became really important to have some well fitted lingerie to enable me to showcase my own range of clothing to its best advantage. Standing in front of a well lit mirror to take pictures in my boutique exposes things like a knicker line, back fat and tummy. I had only ever visited high street lingerie shops in the past and had acquired several drawers full of every shape and colour bra imaginable however none of them truly fitted too well. Visiting Emily’s boutique was a lovely experience and I felt very comfortable. I was quite surprised how her size assessment was made by eye, no hands on or tape measure involved….something I had found a little intrusive in my past experience. Emily took her time to understand my needs and brought be several items of lingerie to try for the best fit. I found her to be incredibly knowledgeable and the items I purchased have really enhanced how I look & feel in my clothes. I now recommend to my own customers to visit knowing how important it is to have well fitted lingerie, it does so much for your confidence and comfort. I honestly never feel like I’m wearing a bra and it’s entirely to do with being fitted correctly into a quality product. I have also purchased the most comfortable shapewear garments and some beautiful designer swim wear again all such beautiful quality. As a fellow independent it’s important to recognise why we need to support our local shops, you simply do not get this level of service from any of the high street named stores.

Recently visited this gorgeous little shop in Bawtry for a bra fitting, Emily was amazing, a true professional who instantly makes you feel at ease. I’m hooked will definitely not go anywhere else now.

I found Emily and &She Knows by recommendation when I moved to Bawtry 6 years ago. I am short, on the large side and very top heavy. I have never really had a successful bra fitting or had brands that actually cater for the larger bust and be comfortable. For those of you that have always dreaded getting a bra fitting don’t! Being fitted by emily was incredibly discrete and where she knows her products so well and has been in the industry so long, much of the fitting is initially based on eye. No where on the high street sells my size off the peg, and very few brands go up to my size at all. Emily has the ability to order in my size, and sometimes we may try a different style, if it’s not for me, there is no obligation and we try something else. I have not brought from anywhere else in 6 years and I continue to order each season. Finally now I have high quality bras, that don’t dig in, give me multiple breast or hurt my shoulders, I feel so much more confident in wearing different style tops that I used to avoid. I would recommend every woman go to Emily for a bra fitting, we don’t keep shoes on for 14 hours a day that hurt or dig in our feet, so why do we go for years wearing bras that do? I love the quality of all the brands &She Knows stocks, and the quality shows in how long they last doing a rather rough job on me

Met Emily a few weeks ago. She has been amazing. The shop looks and smells amazing. All products are of the finest quality, but Emily is fantastic. From the moment you walk through the door putting you at ease, to the fitting, where Emily makes you feel totally at ease! No pressure to take anything that is less than perfect, patient, personable, helpful. The best bra fitting experience! And for those fuller bust ladies.....its for you too!
