Very nice child friendly campsite. We had complete piece of mind for our little ones while they were playing as the site has a single entry with a large electric gate. The ladies toilets/shower room had just opened on the day of our arrival which my wife said were lovely. There was always hot water due to the site having a very large hot water cylinder so the showers never ran hot then cold. The electricity points were 32amps so power tripping off was never an issue. The site is family orientated so was quiet enough on a night for our children to go to sleep. The owners All were very friendly and couldnt help enough. All in all, an excellent site on the doorstep of Doncaster. We will definitely visit again soon and highly recommend this to others.

Very nice. Owners welcoming and helpful. We were on the adjacent private field apparently due to over booking which was a god send as the main field was shoulder to shoulder and not my idea of fun. Lost stars due only to the shower/toilet blocks. Whilst newly refurbished there were no sanitary bins in the ladies and the single shower is not fit for use being a, located 8n the disabled toilet and b, randomly switching from ice cold to scalding hot which was just dangerous for the kids and finally it was nothing more than a dribble. Lovely place over all though for a quick wknd trip.

Good points Quiet site Lovely pub within walking distance Security gate Bad points The showers Womens barely worked. Just a trickle. Only one shower in each bathroom Had to shower in the men's as couldn't rinse my hair in the women's due to barely any water pressure. Men's was fine. Both toilets/shower filthy. Looking at previous reviews from a few years ago when they were new. They have not been looked after, and now grim. Womens shower is coming away from the wall. Not cleaned in the few days we were there. Dusty full of insects and cobwebs. Poo stains on sanitary bin/toilet/wall Dirty sinks. Clumps of hair in shower floor. Not cleaned away. Glad I brought my flip flops so I didn't have to take them off. Just awful we went home early. If u can shower in your caravan fine but if your camping and need to use them 🤢
