Beadlam Grange Farmshop and Tea Room

Cafe very poor. Food very basic. Ordered chicken caesar wraps with chips and paid extra for a small bowl of veggy soup. It came without the chips. We asked the waitress where our chips were and she went off to ask the boss, she returned and said chips aren't included. We asked again and we're again told "no chips" Okay so we ate the food and went and had another look at the menu. Sure enough chips should have been served. Oh the looks at each other.🙂 They kept saying they are only new staff. They seem to struggle with the till and ordering. All they did was refund us for the soups. Wow big licks. I wasn't too pleased with the carrying of our food through the shop to the cafe. Separately the shop produce is premium price but not all premium products. Pork sausages very salty and full of e numbers. The bacon was nice. The people who run this place could learn a lot from 5 houses in Crathorne. An excellent example of how to do it right.

Nice shop but the service was shocking. Ordered 2 breakfasts and they gave it to someone else. They have no system of working out who is sat where. That said food was nice but will not be returning

We visited yesterday for breakfast and it was delicious. Highly recommended. While there we were lucky enough to meet the owner and have a good chat about project of how this place came about, I asked plenty of questions about the area and he was happy to have a natter. Lots of unique gifts in the shop we picked up several nice gifts for Christmas. Before leaving I sampled some lovely cheeses and bought a few food items. My bacon roll this morning was one of the best I have ever had. Will definitely be going back next time we visit the area.

A great little Farm Shop, not a cheap place but similar prices to other places close by. Amazing little play area for kids to get some energy out whilst parents are having a drink. Great choice for kids meals, unfortunately not much options for drinks however the lady that served me suggested about cups of plain milk which went down a treat with the kids. Bonus that it opens at 9:30. Plenty of parking, the shop had lots of choice too! Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Plenty of parking. And where to start? The meat and deli counters had good quality produce. Lovely breads and other fresh vegetables to choose from. If you are on holiday and self catering there is a fantastic selection of fresh and frozen ready meals . Chutneys, jams etc. And a gorgeous gift shop, so much choice. When you have finished shopping then the cafe is there for a coffee or light lunch. Great place to spend a couple of hours.
