Just wonderful such a beautiful place to be. The walk down to it and the clambering over rocks is not for most unhealthy or disabled and the walk back up to the top is not for those with mobility, breathing or heart issues, thankfully there is a beautiful tea room at the top!! lovely cake. It was well worth the effort though and the dogs loved it too

Not the best to reach if you have mobility concerns, to actually get to the waterfall from this route, involved walking down hill for a good while ( with chairs to rest on the way,up or down), then once at the bottom, you do have to walk along some rocks to get to it, or if you want to brave walking up the stream, that's an option too. Well worth the visit, and on the route we took, we started at the pub/hotel and ended up back at the same location, prices reasonable as well. And just down the road, less than a mile away, I would say, is where The TV series heartbeat was filmed as well. Didn't stop there though as the car parking was quite expensive, such a shame, if you do visit, watch out for the sheep everywhere, it's their land and road you are on, so take your time and enjoy the wonderful views

Beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately I would say it’s not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues as a lot of rocks to climb over and a very big hill back up to the top. It took us around an hour and a half. But we went a good bit on past the waterfall you could do it in shorter time. There is a bar/cafe back at the carpark which is nice to stop off for a well deserved drink at the top.

What a beautiful place to have a little adventure! The drive was magical enough, all round the Yorkshire Dales until we found the place with roaming sheep and a beautiful pub/café. A 10 minute walk to the falls where we climbed over boulders which added to the fun until we got to the waterfall..highly recommend it..knowing a cuppa was waiting for us on our return.

Beautiful waterfall, amazing walk. It's a bit difficult with little kids. My husband needed to carry our 4 year old most of the walk. But the views were definitely worth it ❤️
