Attended the Christmas Eve midnight service 24/12/2020 during Covid-19 restrictions. The service was being live streamed for people to watch and participate from home. It was otherwise sad that the circumstances meant there was only a handful of people in church for this, one of the most important services in the church year, and one of the few that I attend. Nevertheless, the Rector made a good job of presenting the service and the church still looked very atmospheric in it's Christmas decoration. St Gregory's church at Bedale is a historic church at the north end of the high street, opposite Bedale Hall. It is well worth a visit, whether for a service or just to admire the building.
