This is a fabulous little library ran by a wonderful volunteers who are extremely helpful and very kind. I have three children who all love it here and thoroughly enjoy the ability to lend books from a local library as well as spend time there. The library runs regular events, including story times and reading challenges. It’s a brilliant resource for the local community
Had a lovely couple of hours walking in the grounds and admiring the stunning Bedale Hall. Now the town’s library and museum. Volunteers doing a fabulous job despite years of austerity and cutbacks. Will certainly be visiting again.
This morning attended a Slipper Event at Bedale Library . I was not sure what to expect but the Volunteers and the Personnel from varies organisations were so welcoming and friendly and got lots of advice from Police,Fire Brigade ,The Fall Team and various others regarding various aspects of Daily Living for the Elderly and Home Safety The free slippers were very welcome and are so cosy .There was a great choice for Men and Women ... Thank you all for giving your time to making us feel special you were all so caring
