Regency Pizza

Don't be too quick to judge by the low rating! Having read them thoroughly before visiting, you'll realise that these are not a fair representation of the Bedale branch as they cover 3 branches. We ordered in person and received fresh delicious food within 10 minutes. My pollo pizza was perfect, my fellas spicy beef pizza went down a treat (maybe more chillies?), the large chips were plentiful and the large mayo dip will keep us in mayo for the next month! I picked this pizza place because of the handmade dough and it doesn't disappoint. You can tell a great pizza when you feel like you can enjoy the dough just on its own. If we lived nearer, this would be our go-to pizza place. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Yorkshire.

Great Pizza and service. We were staying at the Pheasant Hill caravan park 3 miles from Bedale and had been out for the day stopping at Bedale on our way back. Popped into Regency to ask if they deliver to Pheasant Hill. Was told yes no problem just order online. Used the website to order and asked for the delivery to our pitch at 7pm. The delivery turned up on time. The order was correct and the pizza was perfect for our lazy weekend. Would use again without hesitation. Pizza was so good I'd eaten some before remembering to take a photo!

We visited Regency Pizza, Bedale whilst away for a short break. It all looked good to start, a nice colourful menu to draw you in. We got to the counter and it wasn't clear who was taking the order, or who wanted to. A young lad stepped forward and took charge. Order placed we sat and waited. Whilst waiting we overheard several conversations between staff and delivery drivers you wouldn't really want to overhear - criticising colleagues as well as customers they'd delivered to. Then we saw a delivery driver arrive with a hi-vis jacket on and make his way straight out the back to the food prep area. He made no effort to wash his hands, put on an apron but quickly went about getting involved with food preparation! Within a minute of this our food arrived which was actually quite quick. The food itself wasn't half bad to be fair despite the frustration they'd left out a portion of large chips. £3.99 wasted and above all frustrating as I'd checked with the guy when he called us over that it was all there and he'd offered assurance that it was. The food is fair enough but the atmosphere (only one member of staff knows how to smile) and the clear disregard for basic food hygiene makes it difficult to score this establishment anymore than a 1.

Order a mixed kebab, the chicken is bone dry, the kebab meat is all shredded off cuts, salad is woeful. Not happy at all! Waste of money.

Do not order for delivary from here!! Ordered a pizza at 1930, received an email confirming it will be delivered by 2020hrs, 2 hrs later and 2 phone calls later its still not delivered. Rang again to be told its on its way!! 2140 it finally arrives. Staff on phone had no apology or didn't really explain why its so late. If your not in a rush then order but 2 hrs 15 mins later is absolutely disgusting and really takes the mick!!! The photo shows you the time the order was accepted at the shop!!
