Artisan Locksmith in Bedale provided outstanding service when we needed help with the new fire regulation requirements introduced in 2024. As their motto says - "no job big or small" - and they absolutely lived up to that promise. What impressed me most was how they took the time to educate us about the thumb turn lock requirements for the new fire regulations. Rather than just doing the work, they explained why these changes were necessary and how the new locks would improve safety. Their knowledge of the latest regulations was clearly extensive. The locksmith was professional, quick-thinking, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire process. The installation was completed efficiently, and they made sure we understood how everything worked before leaving. I would 1000% recommend Artisan Locksmith to anyone needing locksmith services in the Bedale area. Their combination of technical expertise, customer service, and fair pricing makes them stand out. It's refreshing to find a tradesperson who genuinely cares about educating their customers and doing the job properly. Will definitely use them again for any future locksmith needs.

Great service I manage a few buildings and needed two locks putting in, Martin came when he said he would and did a great job, one of the only trades people to actually turn up! Very nice bloke too, I will be using him for all the buildings in the future when locks need replacing.

A big thank you to Martin Hall of Artisan Locksmiths. A favourite wardrobe had been locked and the key snapped off during removal. Only the tiniest remnant of a key remained. Not much hope we thought, but Martin knew exactly what to do and had the tools to efficiently tackle the job on site. Very impressive and recommend you try Martin next time you need rescuing! I saw Marty's business recommended on Next door and kept his details. I'm so glad I did when the front door handle on our porch sheared off.I had shopping in the car and was fastened out!! It was a Sunday lunchtime when I rang and Marty finished another job in Ripon and had to travel to Leeming Village. He had completed our repair in under an hour from when I had telephoned. That's what I call excellent service. Thankyou so much.

When you pack up early and head to a dog show on a Sunday morning, you don't expect to arrive at the show to find your rear door locks to have failed and to have three dogs stuck in the van. We were fortunate enough that Martin was next to us prepping the show BBQ and was on willing to offer some assistance. Close to two hours later we had a break through (literally) and we had access to the dogs. Even though Martin used pretty much every tool in his van to help out, he wouldn't accept anything for the assistance he provided us. So as a thank you, this review is to say what a top guy he is and hopefully we don't meet next year under the same circumstances!!
