This shops sells everything! Fair prices and very friendly staff! We visited while staying locally and would definitely be regular visitors if we lived closer.

Went to House and Home this morning, nice shop but staff need some training on customer services. I spent £66 and there couldnt even be bothered to pack my shopping in a bag and still didnt help when i struggled putting my goods in the bag, no conversation either.

A fair shop and pretty useful product range, however some of the staff need customer service lessons asap ! I was in earlier and received a phone call ( from a friend who has just lost his mother ) .. I quickly took my item too the till feeling it a bit insensitive too hang up the call .. the miserable grey haired old server couldn’t have been more rude if she had a degree in bad manners, making no eye contact or any communication whilst she was moaning about me being on the phone.. she wouldn’t even hand me a receipt I had too pull it off the machine myself. . Too the server .. I applaud your high standards but have a thought what your customers might be going through at the time of visiting your shop.

I’ve lived in the area for 7 years and used ‘house and home’ regularly , as I do believe in using local stores rather than the big chains. However I’m struggling to want to use this store anymore ! Most of the staff are friendly and polite but there’s this one older woman who is very rude!!! Yesterday whilst I was in the store she was very critical of visitors to the area, calling them in a very condescending and rude manner, to her colleague, she was very loud and clearly wanted these people to hear her!!! She was embarrassing!!!!! ( this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this woman act this way). Her presence in the store was very gloomy, moody and lacked front facing customer service ( her own personal appearance is unkept and totally unfriendly, I would not want this woman customer facing in my business) - I will be traveling further a field for my goods in the future!!!!

Despite a previous review complaining of closing early at 4.50...get a life. They are open 7 days a week and there are plenty of other hours in the day. People who work in shops have homes to go to as I am sure you have. The shop staff are always helpful and it's way better than using a large multiple retailer to shop in a friendly local business. They have a large choice and their products are always compatible in value. Well done House and Home. Don't worry about one moaning last minute shoppers review.
