My name is Jane Bates and I’m a ‘knitaholic’, knitting in class (when I wasn’t supposed to), knitting in the office (when I shouldn’t really have), knitting in the car when I should have had my hand on the wheel (just kidding).
After secretarial and administrative jobs I opened the door to my dream on 21st May 2011. Since opening I’ve had fantastic feedback from knitters and non- knitters who’ve popped in to browse, take a seat and soak up the surroundings.

I look forward to meeting more of you at my weekly Tuesday afternoon knit’n’natter drop-in from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. If you can’t make a Tuesday afternoon, I will also be open from 6.30pm to 9.00pm on the first and third Monday of each month, from 1st August. Come along and share your expertise, ideas and stories. We’ll have a great time.
