Posted a new menu so hopefully everyone can see the new prices and food they do. We went yesterday for Steak night with 2 sirloin Steaks both cooked to perfection, only thing was 1 steak did come out just warm, I didn't say anything as it was cooked perfect, possible left to rest a little to long who knows but what a delicious cut. My daughter had the Chicken parmo which she said was lovely. After a steak night meal and a parmo and one pudding and 3 drinks we were surprised to see the bill at nearly Β£70. I would definitely go again but not have drinks as I do believe they are a little expensive. I appreciate the family there as they were so welcoming and the service great. Shame I can't give 5 star's deducted 1 for the price.
A very enjoyable meal , in a quiet pub , The young girl who served us was very polite, the landlady was nice and chatty , served in the dog friendly area of the pub , the Gammon was lovely
We came to Beeford for a weeks holiday and had a holiday house a 5 minute walk away from this pub. We went there on the Monday to watch the football and it was lovely and quiet with friendly staff! We then went again for dinner a couple nights later and was not disappointed:) the food was large portions and tasted lush! The landlady was a delight , super friendly and attentive. Dogs are also allowed almost everywhere which made it feel extra cozy. We will be stopping by again when we return:)
Come while on holiday, I wish this place was my local! Food was absolutely delicious! Me, my partner and little boy really enjoyed it, even my little boy almost cleared his plate which is pretty rare! The mangeress was absolutely fantastic making sure we were catered for at all times. 5* pub definitely and we were extremely shocked by the bill, VERY CHEAP our bill was around Β£45 for our meals, drinks and desserts. Absolutely brilliant!
I wanted to try this place after everyone seemed so positive about the food. Unfortunately my experiance was not as expected! The salad on both starter and main was drowned in dressing making it not good at all. The prawns were average, the steak was average, the mash tasted of powder, the sausages were not high quality butchers meat (which the price would suggest they are). Majorly over seasoned peppercorn sauce which was unedible for myself, shame really as the place does look alright. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
