I've never been to this library before so it was a nice experience. Pleased with the selection of books and the staff helped me with a paper cup for the water dispenser machine.
Annoyed that although the notice board outside the Library says it is open until 4pm on Saturdays, in fact it closes at 1pm. Please alter the signage asap. Not everyone is online and able to check. (I am, but I believed the info on the sign.)
The behaved disrespectfully towards me when I greeted twice looking into her face no response. My daughter had laughter and smiles on towards that same staff yet she didn't respond making my toddler hurt. A library booklet was shared to the parents without questioning whether they liked it or not but in my case they asked if I want one meanwhile they are supposed to be given to us for attending Tuesdays toddlers activities. The staff was engaging the other parents on things about their toddlers yet I was sidelined. I was the only black woman among them hence I understood the message they were passing indirectly. This racial discrimination needs to stop for God sake. Our toddlers are innocent and too young to be treated this way.
The library is ok, a bit small, staff is friendly and helpful but I don't understand the need to have so confusing hours... always drive there in the morning at 9am because that's when I drop off my kids to school and most of the time is always closed because sometimes they open at 9, sometimes 10... very confusing. Would be a lot easier for a lot of people if the hours would be the same the whole week
Walked in with our driving licences as ID, were issued cards and able to borrow books immediately. We were shown how check them in and out. Very helpful visiting member of staff. Thank you!
