Such a friendly and welcoming pub! The landlady Amanda is just incredible, she offered to allow me to hold numerous fundraising events for our self-funded majorette team at The Whistlestop and went above and beyond to help me organise it! From meetings and planning to running around setting up! We’ve held 2 race nights and a fun day and across all 3 events we have raised over £2,000! I couldn’t be more grateful for Amanda and the whole team at The Whistlestop pub for all of there hard work and support! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
If I could give this place more stars I would!! They are not only a pub but do so much for the community and local sport teams to do fundraising! Outstanding landlady with a fabulous atmosphere!!! They may not do food but the crisp/snack selection is fab!
A very friendly pub. Landlady Amanda is warm and welcoming to each and every customer. Bar staff are lovely and very friendly. Dog friendly, kid friendly...... just very friendly all round
