Suds Car/Van Jet Wash

For the cost of a few quid it does a brilliant job! It uses hot water too so it will actually cleans your car unlike the petrol station over the road! Will definitely use it again when I am back in the area! They just need some down in Essex!

When you're working away for more than a couple of days, the simple things such as laundry add another distraction, especially when not all hotels offer a laundering service. I was glad to find this place where the lady who served me was very pleasant, joyful, and clearly a well liked woman going by the greetings she received. There were plenty of washing machines with different capacities, ensuring all needs can be met. The tumble dryers were the same, a couple with very large capacity which would allow a weeks worth of family washing to be dried in one go. They also have off-street parking, making it easier to call in, and if your car needs a quick clean, there are two self-service power washers. As for other laundry services, I can't comment due to not needing any. Easy to park, use, and service with a smile.

Hot water cleans cars better! It'd be nice if you could select between hot wash and cold rinse, as it is your credit is divided equally between the two with no indication as to how much time you have for your money or when the program will switch. Still does a decent job tho.

Not a bad place. 1.80 minimum. For the first half of the time, you get hot soapy water. The second half is cold water to rinse. They have decent pressure so they are quite good at getting difficult items off the car. For the price it is a really decent car wash. My only complaint is that the hose is not very long. So on longer cars it can be quite difficult to wash. And you may find the hose hitting and dragging on you car, so do take care.

Easy enough to use, if you've got a van you'll need twice the change but a decent DIY car wash. If you need change, the launderette is (as far as I know) open and will have what you need.
