Doctor dumphy refused to give me a note and I think she was rude to me the last time I went and not very professional. She once told me that "I shouldn't have come here"

Dr Gallagher and Dr Dumphy are amazing! The staff are always very welcoming and professional, and everything was explained clearly. I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my visits here. Highly recommend this surgery for their excellent service.

Called to chase up registration, and was told it was being sorted and they were busy a few weeks ago. When I said goodbye on the phone today the receptionist just put the phone down. I said it was respectful to say goodbye rather than just putting the phone down - she then said I can make a complaint then put the phone down again without saying goodbye. Really unprofessional behaviour

Very poorly managed surgery, rude and patronising reception staff. Have been registered at this surgery for over 25 yrs and definitely now considering moving elsewhere. I have to chase up my bloods appointments every six months, then chase up results and then arrange appointments with doctors to discuss results. You have to manage your own health if registered at this surgery, they will not or don't even have a diary system for patients. Would be interested to know how many elderly patients have lost their lives because of this surgery due to lack of patient management and appointment system. Their reception staff are too slow with technology, no wonder it takes ages to get through to them. They can definitely start by recruiting fresh new reception staff and change all their processes.

2023 UPDATE unfortunately a nightmare to get seen to or get any attention from the reception team warriors that stop you from getting treatment & fob you off over & over. Real shame because if you can get past the guardians then medically speaking it's still brilliant. Just awful system now might as well not be registered anywhere. Website updated to be wormholes useless. Would love to feed this back directly to the practice but apparently "the practice manager doesn't have time to deal with every little complaint". Appts are now ALWAYS 10-15min late. 2018 review: Dr. Dumphy and her team are fabulous! Yes just like any NHS practice, it can be a while before you get an appt but if it's urgent they bend over backwards to see to you. The practice itself is clean, calm, not busy and well located with plenty of street parking. Appts are generally on time or just 5 mins after the time so no real wait. Reception is polite, competent, helpful and efficient. Always feel well looked after, the whole family has been coming here for the past 4 years, no complaints, very happy with my choice of practice. Thank you.
