Spink & Edgar

My parents purchased two mattresses that combine as either a twin or King Size Bed late last year - my parents were not happy with them as when sleeping in them as a single they felt like they were tipping you to one side and you were all at sea! When zipped together the heights were clearly different from one side to the other as was the angle of mattress and when sleeping as a king you would find yourselves rolling to the middle. There is clearly an issue as when I slept in the King on my own in January for the first time, I felt I was being rolled into the middle. Having contacted the company they originally ordered through, a representative was sent to review them and admitted they were not right but ultimately the decision lay with Spink and Edgar - who have said there is nothing wrong with them and have refused to speak to my parents!!! You have changed your method of manufacture and no longer produce beds that your reputation was built on - they are not fit for purpose and having spent around £1200 for the mattress my parents have been forced to buy new alternative mattresses - suffice to say they will never buy another mattress from Spink and Edgar - and they recommend this company is given a wide berth as their customer service was appalling. Since this happened my parents have spoken to someone else who is in the industry and has had the exact same experience - Beware!
