Purchased a necklace from the whiterose store 6 months ago and has snapped after a few times of wearing it. We’ve returned to the store and have been told it will £45 to repair it. The necklace is 6 months old it is good and should not have snapped after only wearing it a few times. The assistant manager refused to contact customer service and was extremely unhelpful. I do not expect a gold necklace to snap after 6 months of purchasing it and only wearing it a few time

Bought diamond earrings at £250. One broke after 2nd wear. I also purchased the service package for repairs/cleaning etc. Now the service package had expired, fine, but to then be told they can't be repaired or replaced anyway...why would you sell me a service package if it was never going to be an option to have these earrings repaired? Quoted £65 to have them repaired, said yes, sent off to workshop and low and behold - we can't repair this type of earring??? So now I've to wait for them to come back from the workshop to go back and pick up a pair of earrings I'll never be able to wear again. The customer service was fine in store when dropping them off, but I've not been given any options at all other than "they cant be fixed" - they won't buy them back or give me a partial refund, they can't be repaired, they won't replace them...it's honestly so disappointing.

Misleading Discount – Very Disappointing Experience I selected a ring priced at 1200 after seeing a 50% discount displayed. However, at the counter I was told the discount was not 50% but only 20%. After pointing this out, the ring was put back on the shelf again showing 50% discount, which is very misleading. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. Customers should not be confused or misled about pricing. I expected much better transparency.

Her knowledge of the products, combined with her friendly and persuasive manner, helped me feel confident that the gift I was considering was the perfect choice for my wife. Jo's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident, making the shopping experience both enjoyable and reassuring. The store itself was very well presented and impeccably clean, which further enhanced my shopping experience. It's clear that this Ernest Jones location is a true asset to the brand, maintaining high standards in both product offerings and customer service. I left the store with a beautiful gift, confident that my wife would love it, and I will certainly return to Ernest Jones at the White Rose Shopping Centre for future purchases.
