Sainsbury's

Visited at the weekend. Horrified to discover mould, fur and filth on the shelving and around the cooked meat products stored in the fridge display. Bacteria 🦠 potentially awaiting the journey onto human hands, bags, other foodstuffs, worktops and fridges. A premium supermarket… Sainsbury’s you must do better

Good selection of fresh vegetables at reasonable prices. Fruit options not great and not cheap either. Dairy goods like butter yoghurt and milk have good options and are well priced. Too much ultra processed foods for my liking.

There is a new automated system to collect parcels. I entered my details and waited.... and waited. Nobody came with my parcel. I paid for my lunch keeping an eye on the door. Nobody came. I went back to wait. Another lady came to collect her parcel. We both waited. A member of staff walked past and I asked her what was happening with parcel collections as I had been waiting ages. She said, " ask someone". I said, "I am, Im asking you". She walked off!! Another member of staff walked past and she helped us and got our parcels, explaining Nobody was in the warehouse. Not good enough Sainsbury's! 10-15 minute wait and a staff member that hadn't got a clue what she was doing....

My family has been shopping here for years especially during christmas and got some turamisu, sea food platters etc and the food is really good. Also get some non alcholic Rose wines too.

Nice little shop to grab a few things, the meal deals are one of the best with plenty to choose from, don't think its as expensive as some people say and they have a few good deals on with your nectar card.
