I'm not Polish but the staff are always so nice to me, very supportive of what little Polish I know. The owner gave me the heebie geebies today though, hovering around watching myself, my partner and the staff nearby. It was rather ominous. All I wanted was some fresh bread rolls (bułki) from the oven. This is once after years of shopping here though. Good selection of products, the deli counter is the best thing here.

Went for the first time today.. they've more product than my cousin's in Poland have in their shop..it of choice and friendly staff.

I absolutely love this place. The staff are always pleasant and have a smile on their face. The food I've purchased over the past few years have been great. Never had a bad experience. Only checked to see the closing times for today as we live a distance away. My girls LOVE the store, they find it all so fascinating, as do I. We always try to get 1 thing we cant work out what it is to try at home.

Great choice of meat and friendly, helpful staff

This store has become a joke. We’ve had to deal with being cheated countless times on products at checkout. Either they scan some extra item we don’t even have in our bags, or they charge full price for reduced items—pretending not to notice. This has happened way too many times for it to be an innocent mistake. To make matters worse, their shelf pricing is a disaster. Half the prices are missing or mixed up. You are often unsure of the price of the item you grab off the shelf until it’s been scanned. How hard is it to get the price tags right? It’s been like this for about 10 years—since they opened. We had a habit to sit in the car after shopping and go through the receipt line by line, and sure enough, quite often we would find we’ve been overcharged. It’s rarely about the money (though once or twice it added up to £5 after a big shop), but usually, it’s £1 or £2 here and there. It’s the principle—and the frustration of constantly having to double-check because their workers are either careless or are incompetent or not qualified for the job. We’ve even had to go back inside to confront them. While we don’t care about the £1, it’s satisfying to call them out on their “mistakes” in front of other customers. But honestly, why should we even have to do this? How many other people are being ripped off and not even noticing? This place might have a good selection of products, but we’ll probably stop shopping here. At least we might not have to feel like we’re being scammed every time we buy groceries. If you do shop here, be vigilant and check every single receipt. To the store: Get your act together. Stop cheating your customers and make sure the price tags on the shelves are accurate and up-to-date or hire some qualified workers.
