Ordinarily other than a few fresh Meats I purchased being close to going out I've had no issues with them. However I have been given out of date items that are at least 2 weeks old. What if I or my family or a guest was made sick becouse of it. Thankfully customer service resolved the matter but i thought others should know that these items and perhaps other items could cause sickness. - Additional information: You can never get a hold of them at the store and they regularly decide not to deliver the full amount of your order. The communication is so serverly lacking it's disgusting.
Very poor service and customer service. I ordered a delivery 2 weeks ago and brought some ham with next week date on it, and it already gone mouldy and not been opened yet. Then to order a delivery for last Thursday. Which yes arrived on time with a very polite and friendly delivery driver. To fine I was missing 10 Skimmed UHT milk. I contacted the store straight away, to be told by the person on the phone that they picked my order and said they were picked. Which then I informed him that they didn’t arrive with my delivery. So he told me he would take my number and speak to manager a hour later when they arrived. Up until now which is 5 days later. I have received no communication back from store or main customer service about my missing items. I have since then tried contacting the store on a number of different times and can never get through to someone. So I think from now on I’ll shop elsewhere. As that is now twice in a matter of weeks when I had problems with order to this store.
The best value supermarket around with plenty of variety and special offers.
Really good store which gives you the chance to buy extra amount whilst still saving more then you would whilst only buying the normal standard am out of shopping items. When I spend let's say £120 at most supermarkets and you fill your trolley to about just over half full go here and you will spend the same £120 but you will fill your trolley to the top which works out to buying an extra 40-50% so if you can spend the same and get so much extra then why wouldn't you even just give it a go even just once and you will be really surprised at what you can buy. No your not just buying all the cheap items either you are actually buying the same if not better but filling your fridge, your freezer and yes all if your cupboards and possibly your open shelves so just give it a go and you won't be disappointed. Hope this helps anyone of you out to save money. Peter
I am a regular visitor to The food warehouse and although I find pricing confusing it might be just me, does any three for ten pounds mean anything in the store that is priced the same way meaning I could have a Packet of tea cakes, a packet of bacon and a bag of chicken bites? If that is the case and I get to the till and I only have eleven assorted items two will be at full price I take it. Pricing apart it has two things that annoy me immensely one being that there is never any trolleys available, surely for such a busy store five or six is daft and must put people off or are you just looking for people to shop with hand baskets. The second is that your staff seem to always be stocking up with boxes left on top of freezers and stock trolleys blocking the isles. Why can’t this be done towards the end of the day when things are quietening down.
