We stayed here as a large family group during the school holidays, was great value. The location is stunning right by the river and easy walking distance from Malham. Well equipped kitchen for self catering, was lovely and warm. Really good communication on booking. Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here while walking the Pennine Way. Good communication during the booking process. The bunks, while basic, were clean and comfortable as were the showers and communal areas. Self-catering kitchen is well equipped, but check with Friend in Residence re food buying options in village or nearby Gargrave. Happily recommend it as an overnight stop.

Good meeting room spaces that are large enough for teamwork activities. Some basic but comfortable sleeping accomodation. Being an older type of building it's multileveled with stairs and steps inside. Also a low doorway that I managed to bang my head on. Whilst outside the stone paving could give some disabled access issues. But I'd still book it again for our management meetings.

A very charming and thought provoking place 😊 Well worth a look round we had a lovely chat to the resident warden plus there's also an independent youth hostel in the grounds.
