We had a wonderful 4 night break at this beautiful cottage in the most peaceful location. Walks from the door, bird feeders placed for easy viewing, dvd library and games, a piano and guitar and stunning views. Everything we could possibly need.
This getaway exceeded our expectations, such a beautiful peaceful place where the loudest sound is the chirp of the birds. You can hear yourself think here, beautiful surroundings, comfortable beds and sofas. Friendly, helpful owners. Highly recommended. (Family of five)
Rarely does anything totally live up to the effusive reviews you read online but on this occasion The Granny House well deserves all the acclaim it attracts. Read the Reviews! The cottage is in a peaceful, secluded location close enough to all amenities and tourist attractions. Beautifully furnished, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts are genial, helpful and unobtrusive. They seem to have thought of everything their guests may require and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Jeanne and Richard for a wonderful week.Tom, Charlotte (7) and I found you to be the perfect hosts and we love The Granny House.
Stayed here with friends and had a terrific stay. From a warm welcome nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, who showed us where everything was and helped us with ideas of what to visit and where to go walking. There are tremendous walks and views all around from the doorstep to a few miles away. The cottage was fully equipped, great for cooking for our large group. The bed was super comfortable and at night it was both nice and dark and so very peaceful that we slept like a log and woke refreshed. We made use of the piano, books and even caught up on the international rugby games too. We will definitely be back and soon I hope.
We stayed at the Granny house over Christmas for 7 days and other than poor weather the accommodation was perfect. Communication from Jeanne was fantastic during the booking process and once we arrived. House was decorated for Christmas which was a bonus. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
