Beverley Library

First visit since Covid-19. Friendly and helpful staff. 30 mins window to explore the lending library. Just went in to physically renew books. Good atmosphere. Social distancing and mandatory masks (was given as visor was gray area) and hand sanitisor stations in place.

Excellent. Good range of books, clean, brightly lit, places to sit and read, separate reading/study room with large shared tables, fast WiFi. Lovely cafe upstairs. Bike racks outside. Lockers also available. Close to Beverley town centre for more food, shopping, and even cinema etc at the new Flemingate development.

The library amazing ! They have a huge variety of books, very cooperative staff, a very convenient borrow-box app for ebooks and audio books, plus I really love their colorful kids section. Nice place to just sit and read.

Beverley library is a great library! Good selection of books, lovely, helpful staff. You can order a book you wish online and then go in and collect it. You can also use the compuers there, there's a notice board giving the library users details of the various book clubs available to them and the groups that meet on a regular basis. A great community library!

Lovely place with friendly, helpful staff. Feel Covid secure and the extra loan numbers is helpful. Staff have helped recommend reads for me and my children. My children love the book selection also; an enjoyable, regular, green (sustainable - reduce and reuse) and free activity. Keeps the children quiet and occupied at home too, working through all their new finds. The app is great for reserving, checking return dates and renewing. Highly recommend.
