Popped in here because is was really busy in Beverely. Food was nice, halloumi sandwich was nicer than the cheese and pickle. The pub was busy and it took a while for the food to be delivered, but it was Saturday at 100. Lovely pint of Timmy Taylor Landlord.
We had a family gathering here, it was a lovely place however would definitely recommend booking as it was very busy. When we first arrived it was extremely loud and hard to hear each other but that died down later on. A very friendly environment and lovely food though! (Loved the murals on the walls too!)
We had Sunday lunch there. Pleasant staff and very nice environment. But the food simply wasn't good enough. I tend to avoid Sunday Roasts in pubs because the meat is never any good (presumably because it sits around a lot), but the beef wasn't even as good as that. It was practicallly inedebible. Everything else was OK. I didn't have a pudding, but my companions liked theirs.
Wow just wow, from start to finish.. Came here with my mum for a bite to eat, we got more than a bite to eat. I took my food home with me as I had that much on my plate, absolutely amazing. The young lad behind the bar, really friendly, made us feel soo welcome, very polite, smiley, cheerful, the beer garden is lovely and cosy, I highly recommend this place and we will continue coming with our family as our local now.. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!
Fantastic pub, went in for breakfast after Saturday Market. First time trying black pudding and now I'm sold 😂 (breakfast does come with mushrooms, I don't like mushrooms and please note I had the small one). Staff are friendly and welcoming. Good selection of ales, beers and ciders (loads of refrigerated choices too). Their beer garden is beautifully done out too! Highly recommended.
