A fabulous Sam Smiths pub also known as Nellies. Gas lighting and interiors and furniture probably over a century old. Ground floor rooms are a must to explore. The hand pulled bitter is delicious and the atmosphere and the welcome from the staff and locals was superb. Goodness me, I want to return as soon as possible 😊
Really old traditional public house in the centre of Beverley. Full of atmosphere with coal fires and gas lights. Stone floors, dark wood furniture Good range of drinks. Mobile use not allowed and swearing discouraged. Large private car park outside.
Lovely old building. Gas lights still working. Used to be a great place. Just go in and have a look then go somewhere with decent staff and beer. It's soleless... and when we went one Saturday night it was empty, we got served a bad beer with no refund. Never again.
Great, unaltered pub dating back donkeys years. Lots of individual rooms, cosy fires, flagged floors, untouched by modern day life. Food options limited to mostly snacks.
Amazing and quirky pub in a very old building. Log burning fires on the coldest days. Super cosy and old fashioned. I love these types of pubs!
