All had small breakfast with different eggs. Food really well cooked. Service very good from friendly staff.
Good quality food, generous portions. Beautiful refurb on the inside recently which has made it much more spacious and can seat more customers! Only down side was the sour dough bread was lovely and soft but rock hard on the edges so couldn’t cut it with a normal knife, had to tear it rather than cut it. I would maybe ask for a steak knife next time for it! This also didn’t help with a rocky table 🤦♀️ was abit of an effort to say the least 🤣 Would return again as the food is good! 👌
Food was lovely. Service was average. Usual waiting time for this cafe but didn’t appreciate having to wait on stairs when I have a bad hip and arthritis. I liked the Yorkshire pudding wrap. Please do better for your customers who are not physically able to stand for long periods of time. Overpriced
Went here today whilst staying nearby. The queue was BAD, took us 40 minutes to get a table. After such a wait, we were expecting more tbh. The food was OK, nothing to rave about. It's not cheap either for what you get. The place lacks atmosphere as well, we were sat towards the front of the house upstairs and it was a little dark for my liking and could have had some better decor or accessories to create a country feel ambience. Give the place a try to make your own mind up. it's not for us.
Lovely little place, excellent service. Ordered the chicken quiche, chicken ceasar salad, panini sandwich and steak sandwich. Big portions.
