Greko Beverley

First time for me at Greko and it won't be the last! The place was packed which is a true reflection on how popular it is, we joined our good friend who is Greek for dinner and she ordered a selection of dishes for us all to share. The portions are very generous and great value for money, the service was quick and staff checked on us regularly. The quality of the food is outstanding we loved everything that was brought out. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic place, food made from scratch which makes a difference on the taste as texture of the food. Be aware the small plates are quite generous and the idea is to mix up starters with some small plates and a main. If you’re in the area I can recommend

Having previously dined at Greko a few times when staying in Beverley, we were keen to re-visit as it’s the best Greek food we’ve ever had. This time our experience was really poor, food was great and usual standard. Although what’s happened to the Halloumi fries, they’ve shrunk to mini versions. The reason for 3 stars was the experience, we were sat next to a large table who were extremely loud. Whilst you it may not be the restaurants fault, it was a bad experience. The waitress couldn’t hear us to take our order and we couldn’t hear her. The table was so loud and swearing between themselves. The restaurant didn’t do anything, I know it can be difficult but you could have spoken with them or fed them quicker. We are so quickly and wanted to get out. Only when I declined deserts and coffee due to the noise, did the waitress offer to move us. We had finished at this point and should have taken the initiative earlier. You could tell we were on a date night and it was not enjoyable.

We stayed in Beverley for New Year and stumbled across Greko whilst looking for somewhere for tea after our drive Greko's food was stunning! The waitress who was serving us was very knowledgeable about the whole menu and advised us what best to order as the portion sizes were large - she was spot on with her recommendations! We were a party of 5 including 2 teenage boys who all very much enjoyed everything that was placed in front of us. I will be recommending to all our friends who visit Beverley in the future

Really enjoyed the food here. It's so good we went back twice for lunch in as many days. We shared the Halloumi fries, which are excellent full of flavour and presented beautifully. The pork and chicken skewers were perfectly cooked and flavoursome and come with a delicious dipping sauce. With a couple of pittas, it made for an excellent lunch. A complete repeat the next day with an added dish to share of the Baklava, which was sticky and yummy. Friendly service, seating both in and outside. Cold Mythos. Loved it. Thank you.
