Really lovely warm welcome, the waitress was so accommodating and kind. Nothing was too much and went above and beyond. The food was incredible, we will definitely be back and be recommending to friends and family. Me and my partner went on a date and it was really romantic, loved the decor and love hearts on the mirror gave it a nice touch. Can’t wait to return, lovely little gem of a restaurant and needs more recognition.
Met up today with my sister, daughter, grandson & niece for our festive lunch together as we live in different parts of Yorkshire but my sister and I are Beverley girls. Lovely spacious room, nice and warm and we had a truly wonderful lunch 😋. Service was first class, nothing too much trouble and the food was excellent- I had the best prawn cocktail ever 👍. We will certainly be back, thank you.
Had such an amazing evening celebrating my birthday in this wonderful place. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, the hostess couldn’t do enough. Made every effort to make it a really special evening for me. Absolutely fabulous. We’ll be back xx
Had a lovely experience at Il Gusto on Friday 7 November 2025. Wonderful warm welcome, truly excellent service and a great meal. The waitress even overheard a comment about it being my birthday and reappeared with a very scrummy lemon cheesecake with a candle in it. Well done to all at Il Gusto, we will come back and encourage others to come and visit you while in Beverley.
Prime time 8pm booking three weeks before Xmas and we were the only diners in the place - speaks volumes! The place is soulless with no atmosphere and the food, whilst edible, was bland, lukewarm and unimpressive. They didn’t have the wine of choice and we ended up being served a Pinot Grigio that you can buy in B&M!!!! The waitress and service was very slow but staff were friendly. Sorry to leave a negative review but you need to up your game for future diners albeit we won’t be returning.
