What a hidden Gem this is . Food . Absolutely delicious. Freshly made & home cooked cakes. Sandwich’s very fresh & to our fussy needs. Staff -lovely friendly staff . Very attentive to your needs . Atmosphere-it was great with a Father Christmas. There was a party in the room next to ours & it sounded great fun. The room were we in is what I would describe as a private room with a log burner . Please please give this place a try. We are already looking at dates to return
Had afternoon tea today which my son had bought me on a wowcher code. Easy to phone and book to explain I was using a wowcher code. Easy to find, we parked in flemingate car park a short walk away. Food was delicious. Had ham & mustard, egg mayo and cheese and pickle sandwiches. Home made sausage rolls, fresh cream apple turnovers, sultans scones, Victoria sandwich mini cakes, lemon drizzle mini cakes and chocolate Swiss rolls. Gave us a doggy bag to take leftovers home as we were stuffed. Give this place a go. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Had a lovely afternoon indian tea for 2 , we had a room all to ourselves with log fire and candles on this dreary January day .Christa was so helpful and friendly and th3 food had a quirky twist on an afternoon tea indian style. I was also given a complimentary birthday 🎂 cocktail 🍸 so thanks again Christa
Enjoyed a festive afternoon tea, it was delicious and set out lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly and kept the tea topped up! The place itself is beautifully decorated and very quaint. There is a car park about a 5 minute walk away, if that. I would definitely recommend a visit here.
We had this bought for us as a Christmas present, by my son. Thank you very much, we went last Saturday to book for today and took my sister along too. The sandwiches and cakes were all very good. I especially did like the scones & jam Thank you Tete-A-Tete
