El Pollo Takeaway

Really disappointed, especially because this is our regular takeaway and it’s usually great. We ordered the donner meal deal: two donners (both meant to come with chips) and two drinks. The order arrived with no chips at all, so I rang and was told they’d bring them out. While waiting, we started eating. My chicken and my partner’s donner were cold. I rang again to explain this and was met with a very argumentative response, repeatedly being told “how can it be cold, I’ve just made it?” as if I’d somehow caused it myself. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to answer that. He kept saying he was sorting the chips, but that wasn’t why I was calling. When I asked for a refund due to the cold food and mistakes, I was told “we don’t refund”. After more back and forth, he suddenly said he would refund, a strange change of stance. The whole experience was frustrating. Between the missing chips, cold food, and rude, dismissive attitude on the phone, it really let us down compared to the normally amazing food and service. At this point, I doubt we’ll even get the missing chips or the refund promised.

The cashier she was lovely girl very polite definitely would go back

I had a really good experience here. The best service I’ve had in Beverley and because of this I would be happy for them to cater at my birthday party. Atmosphere was buzzing when I entered. Definitely would come back and recommend.

The nicest experience I have had with a takeaway. The staff were so nice and gave us all free drinks. Make sure to stop by here for a good meal xx

Really yummy food, including vegetarian options with good halloumi. Fries were really good and fresh. Surpassed all expectations!
