Took the other half out for breakfast and decided to try somewhere new. We came across Kavanaghs and decided to give it a go - and we were not disappointed! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They promptly came to greet us and seat us at a table of our choice at the back (a nice touch), before getting us settled and taking our orders. Both food and drinks arrived very quickly after our order was taken, and the food was absolutely delicious. You could definitely tell that all the produce was local and fresh. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area for breakfast, as it did not disappoint!
Lovely friendly tea room. I wish I had longer available, as would have liked to try the full afternoon tea, but the eggs Benedict was delicious. Nicely cooked eggs!
We went for lunch today. Lovely food service. I would like to express sincere thanks to the lovely waitress who helped me when I was having a hypo, she was so kind , kept checking on me until my blood levels were back to normal.
Excellent coffee/tea and cake venue. The portions are truly Yorkshire sized, the carrot cake was different but excellent with pieces of pineapple in the 'sponge'. The cream for the scone was verging on the side of being insufficient but my waistline is probably grateful.
First time trying this place and will be the last, maybe I should have read the reviews first, when I was sat at our table no one came. We gave it 10 minutes so I decided to goto the counter to place my order only to be told by a rude woman to sit back down and we are on the list to be served. We waited another 10mins then left. We went to Costa instead. Would have rather put my money into a small independent business but oh well.
