Visited for the Classic Car Night.... great. Long strip of lovely old cars right down the street. Worth the drive over to Beverley for. Annual event, so look out for it.
Visited Saturday market to just have a walk around and see what’s about. It gets quite busy but I don’t think the layout is very good. Also not really much there and what is there is really expensive I mean stupidly expensive. Now I get most of the venders make the stock themselves but £4 for a sausage roll, £8 for a very small tub of curry, £300 for a chopping board to name a few. The choice of venders was not very large and is no way sadly as good as York. For some reason the market was disproportionately overwhelmed with people with dogs and people with 2 or 3 dogs and a lot of them congregated in one area and had the dogs doing tricks, this was in the area walking from one part of the market to the other part of the market. So you had no option but to walk through them with their dogs jumping up at people.
An open air street market with a variety of stalls. Good range of products. Excellent cheese stall, good butchers' and other food stuffs. Clothing and footwear.
