Be warned. Please make up your own mind after looking at the damage and reading my review. The image is from the nearside wheel arch. The car had no damage prior to going to Tariqs car wash. One thing I have never seen anyone do, is get out of the car and walk around and check immediately after it is washed! Lesson learnt! Car is then driven to the shops before home where it is noticed. The damage is blast damage. Not a scrape or a dent. I believe it is from an over powered jet washer using too high pressure. Similar to sand blasting. Clearly there are evidential difficulties proving it was caused by Tariqs, but I have no doubt in my mind that it was. The car has been taken to a car body repair shop who states it hasn't had previous damage repaired at that location. When asked what happened, their answer - not the first time I've heard that story (or similar words). Result £180 for repair work and add the cost of a car wash on top. Be very careful.....
Can't write a good review? Then stick to facts only, making clear when a comment is personal opinion/judgement. My 1st-visit to this car was because they had mostly good reviews to book a full valet appointment. I was told "we can do it now for you it will take an hour". I missed that warning sign - it isn't possible to do a full-valet in an hour ... but for some reason I let that go. My mistake. A full valet at £80 was more expensive than a local, mobile specialist in Beverley ... but I was here now & they'd some good reviews (not necessarily for 'full-valets'). I told the gentleman I didn't want the included engine 'steam clean'. He said "we never do that unless the driver says so". Another price list option was 'Engine STEAM Clean from £10'. Suggesting that at least £10 was coming off my £80 bill. (NB: I keep stressing 'steam', because here engines are only cleaned with cold water pressure washers!) Asked to pay cash, I walked to a cash-point. The 'full-valet' took 90 minutes & (still not possible my brain wasn't working). I got in to check the interior. The building corner where valet work is done, is quite. I turned on stage 1 ignition (no engine start) for light. The driver seat electrics, the internal lighting, the entire SatNav/CD/RADIO/TV unit was dead, as was the driver's control panel for windows/side-mirrors/heater. A 2nd Gentlemen suggested that it was because someone heavy (him) had sat on the seat. After discussion, he told me to return on Monday morning, the garage nextdoor would fix everything at his cost. I only take my car to a Land Rover specialist. My attention was diverted from inspecting the full-valet, obviously. Despite the electrical failure caused & the engine 'steam' clean not being done, I was asked for the full £80. The next fact is my fault: I paid. I shouldn't have but I was thinking about getting the fault fixed 1st. I drove home sitting awkwardly. At home, was when I thought to check the quality of the 'full-valet' realising 90mins isn't long enough to complete a full valet on my vehicle (a large 4x4). The alloy wheels were filthy. They shone on the outer face only, everywhere else on all alloys was still caked in brake dust. There was excess wax dotted over the outside of the car, this is difficult to remove. The leather Dashboard was splattered with excess cleaning fluid, the wood surrounds smeared in the same. The leather seating is covered in excess cleaning fluid or has been permanently stained. The carpets were soaking wet: "leave your car running with heat on full for 1 hour at home". (Using who's fuel?) The car exterior had NOT been polished. It had been 'waxed' only in the same way a std carwash uses wax. Hence the excess left on the bodywork. There were water marks down the front doors as liquid had clearly blown out on the drive back. Another sign it hadn't been dried and polished. My LR Specialist kindly came out early Saturday evening. The electrical shutdown (his words) "water & liquids have been sprayed liberally inside & blown several fuses". He showed me how to change them. I bought a mixed box of fuses at Halfords next morning. Back at the business, they apologised, 'washed & cleaned' the inside again. No refund. The electrical fault had been caused a 2nd time!! Down the road I replaced the fuses AGAIN. The wax residue on the outside, the cleaner residue on the dashboard are still there. The leather seating remains stained. Apparently, the residue stains will take several attempts to remove. The staining of the leather upholstery may, or mmay not, clear, after several applications of a leather restorer. Not enough time for a full-valet? It wasn't a full valet. No polishing, no engine steam clean reduction. In all, £108 to be left with a car I have to work on to restore the interior to its 'unblemished' (it truly was) former state. My personal experience. It was a bad wash 'n wax + interior. My car never came close to being gven a full-valet. 29.08.23: Silicon was used to clean the leather!! It's taken until now to get it all off.
I pulled in to have my car washed i asked if they could hoover the car too the board outside said £20 but they argued they had given the gold service and charged £35. The car was not wiped over properly the dash had not been dusted and the inside carpets at the back were still dirty I was very annoyed and peed off with this place I would definitely not recommend.
Brilliant job! Car went in having not been cleaned for 9 months + over winter. Came out looking like new. Friendly staff, great service, and all for £10! Will definitely be using again on a regular basis.
Had a spillage all over the car from a freezer full of defrosted boilies which stunk the car out. These guys worked their magic and the smell has gone! Along with a thorough clean out. Thank you so much would highly recommend
