Absolutely disgusted with man serving at shop last night. I used pump to fill up. As was only left fill pumps available, I moved car right up to island and filled with hose over car. Reached fine, filled up, was watching the price bar on machine and another customer said something to me. Couldn't tell what he said as was noisy in garage but I looked down and petrol spewing out tank. I cut it off quickly and was covered, car covered, forecourt covered. I went to get assistant who I could not understand, was very dismissive, made out I was trying to leave without paying, and was lone working so was not giving the situation his full attention. I slipped on the forecourt as petrol everywhere, I took many photos and his answer was why didn't I use the pump with the right side fill. I said they were all in use and I'd never had trouble using this side before. He asked why I didn't wait and I started to give him my reasons but afterwards thought that really was my business and not up to him to question my actions when legitimate and warranted. I ended up being there 30 minutes as he was serving, kept walking away, rang his manager then promptly shoved the phone at me to take, I couldn't hear the manager properly and didn't like the way the assistant had rung him and spoke another language in front of me and I had no idea what they were saying about me. I went back into the shop after the manager promised to check the pump today and get back to me. It did not cut off, end of story. Apparently if you use the pump in the way I did, then it stops the cut off. I have used this before and never had this happen. Also there is no signage to this effect, of which I asked the manager! No there's no sign but people know about it. Hello!!! At 60, I didn't!! I've had a car since aged 17!! I have a disability (unseen except for a slight gait when walk) and I couldnt cope. I left the garage and burst into tears. I will not be using morrisons again. Bring back the old staff who cared and there was more than one working! I hasten to add i told the assistant that he needed to get the petrol over the floor cleaned up or whatever they do and he told me that was his business and to stop holding people up. I was trying to help as the petrol was all over and I had slipped on it. I got upset and raised my voice I hold my hands up. Only a young man in his 20s helped me, stuck up for me and made sure I was ok. There were grown men there who did nothing. I have ms and it takes a lot for me to face the world outside my home and job where I feel safe. Ignorant people should not be in a customer facing job!!! I asked for a way to complain and he wouldn't give me any help, he made out he didn't understand what I was asking for. This should all be on camera surely!

Good luck getting them to turn the pumps on. 3 times in a row I have to wait for them to notice I’m there. I will take my money elsewhere,

Pulled into fill car at 21.40 to be told i can only use the pay at pump side. Explained i'm paying cash. We close at 22.00 so went elsewhere to fill up £60 worth of fuel. If you close at 22.00 then close at 22.00 not 21.40
