Cornish Bakery Beverley

The goods on sale here are all home baked. There is a good selection of options available, including vegetarian. Portion sizes are large. It is a popular venue so be prepared to wait for a table. We were lucky when we visited as we managed to enter just as a group were leaving. Prices are reasonable. Food is yummy. No cash is accepted at this venue. The staff are helpful and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere here is bubbly but not over noisy so it's comfortable holding a conversation. We would recommend.

The Cornish Bakery in Beverley is my must-stop café every time I’m in town. The coffee is always consistently good, and the pastries are fresh, tasty, and baked to a high standard. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, even when it’s busy. The café is clean, well-presented, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a comfortable place to sit in or grab something to go. It’s a reliable and enjoyable stop, whether you’re after a quick snack or a proper break. Easily a five-star spot and one of the best options in Beverley for a quality coffee and bite to eat.

This was our first visit to a Cornish Bakery outlet anywhere. It was a visit made at the Beverley, East Yorkshire cafe on a sunny Tuesday morning around 10.30am. It wasn't busy. There were 4 front of house staff (plenty). I ordered a pasty and a pastry with 2 English breakfast teas. The food was as good as any pastries and pasty purchased from a supermarket, cafe or train station outlet. It wasn't better. The service was at best indifferent. If reading this and you haven't been, no cash is taken which isn't unusual today, but still surprising in a cafe especially one with the customer demographic that was there. Nonetheless be prepared and also, be prepared for the staff to be quite blunt and matter of fact in how they inform you of this. The entire experience was 'beige'. Nothing great, nothing especially poor ... but nothing to make the place stand out amongst the plethora of cafes available to choose from in this town.

Lovely and friendly Cafe with a variety of pastries and drinks. This place looks fine. We were here today (13/8/22) for drinks and pastries. My orders were ice mocha, hot chocolate, cappuccino for drinks and also pizza and almond croissant. Foods and drinks were good. Staffs were friendly. The weak point is the toilet. I can see only one room there, which is also for disabled people. Update for today ( 1/11/22) the place and food are still good 😊

Very nice Americans coffee, though wish they'd offer a larger cup. I did try the tall milky coffee and that was very nice, tempts me to come back. The almond and cherry croissant they do is delicious. They do lots of pastries and cakes, plus savouries such as sausage rolls. I keep coming back here!
