An absolutely fantastic store, shelves are always well stocked and staff are just fabulous. Always friendly and super efficient even when it’s really busy in there 🙃 Always extremely tidy and items are always available. Parcels have increased lately in there and so it gets harder and much busier for the staff as people do seem to forget that they are trying to operate a full shop too. I have witnessed yet again today a customer be extremely abusive to a young staff member over a parcel which is wholly unnecessary when it’s not in their control!
Went to collect my parcel today. Walked across Beverley to collect it before I went into work. I was told I wasn't allowed to have my parcel! They won't let you have your parcels between 11am to 12pm. There's nothing on the Yodel website saying such a thing, nor is there on Vinted. I spoke to the Manager and pleaded for my parcel. I was told NO!! Absolutely scruffy store with surly members of staff. I will never ever have my parcel go there again and I will be taking this issue up with Yodel and Vinted. Also if you do get your parcel, be prepared to stand in the corner at the back of the shop and wait 20 minutes for the staff to bring it, but bear it in mind you're bothering them by your presence because they just can't be bothered.
Older staff grumpy and abrupt. They hate dealing with Evri parcels and don’t take well to complaints when the service is broken. I took a parcel in three times to me met with unapologetic refusal to take my parcel. Today attempt 4 a member of staff continued stacking shelves while I stood with my parcel and while i was entering my email address she told me to stand to the side to let the woman behind be served. It’s ok it’s just done so rudely. So I’m not ever using One Stop again. There’s a little Sainsbury’s the same distance and Poundland. Word of mouth is powerful. Fix your shop pls. We are a community.
A handy franchise store. Useful being on the corner to the Premier Inn hotel. Collect the odd EVRI parcel too. Friendly and helpful staff. All good. Thank you. 10/10
I use this store frequently to collect and send parcels with Vinted. The staff in there are always friendly and polite. However, I found today that not to be the case. While I understand that one needs ID to collect a parcel, I had temporarily forgotten this today. I did have I D in my care, so not a problem. What I did not like was the attitude of the male shop assistant as he came across quite abrupt and inpolite. There is a way to ask for ID. I am an older person, and I probably just had a memory lapse. He was, asking quite abruptly my name, saying he'd never heard it, and that he had never seen me before. As I said I was a frequent user of the store, mainly for Evri. I had seen him before. Luckily for me I am usually served by the other members of staff. It has put me off using the store. The rules are correct and I agree, but as I mentioned there is a nice way to request ID. He needs to learn how to treat customers appropriately. I will consider now to shop elsewhere as he made me feel quite uncomfortable. The other staff are lovely.
