Friendly and helpful team of staff. Thank you. Handy for household batteries and some pet items. I am not a regular customer. Find the layout and atmosphere old fashioned. Typical Northern. Behind the times compared to the South. I don't find their pricing as cheap being a thrifty shop but something for everyone.

This is such a great store, with many staff who have been there for lots of years. It is well laid out and there are actually staff on the shop floor who can and will assist you (unlike many of the supermarkets etc) You can buy just about anything non-food in here from lightbulbs to toolsets, disinfectant, bed linen, pet food and talcum powder… There’s also a cash point inside the store making it much easier and safer to use. My favourite section of the store is right at the back in the haberdashery section with lots of craft essentials, wool, dress patterns and lots more. The staff in this section are so helpful and happy to offer advice. Highly recommended!

We love this packed shop full of bargains over two floors. Accessibility - good, a few tighter areas for maneuvering. Extensive range of household goods. Staff - friendly and helpful, they can be very busy and so finding them may not be always easy.

Went in today, had at least a dozen items to purchase. Unfortunately it was raking 4 members of staff to sort out a credit note..oblivious to customers waiting..so left purchases and went elsewhere

Excellent little shop in the heart of Beverley. It has pretty much everything you could wish for be that clothing, electrical goods DIY accessories and general supplies. A more than adequate go to since Wilkinsons ceased trading.
