Called in today to look at their antique range of engagement rings as I needed to replace my original, long story lol! From the moment we stepped in the store we were made to feel incredibly welcome even if we possibly were just their to peruse. Every member of staff checked we were ok, and acknowledged we were there from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. It made the slight wait for service feel like nothing. Phillip who helped me choose the perfect ring was so nice, helpful, friendly and amazingly patient with my difficulty choosing which beautiful ring to pick. Gary, who helped my husband with watches was also incredibly helpful and friendly. When id picked my ring, it needed resizing and I expected to be told it would be a couple of weeks wait. But no, just 2 hours later I was picking it up, trying it on and taking it home with me. We could not recommend Guest and Phillips any more highly than 5 stars but if we could it would be 10s across the board. We left today, one engagement ring and two watches later very very happy customers. We will be back there very soon.
Bought a beautiful Gucci watch from Guest and Phillips yesterday and what an absolute pleasure it was! I spoke with Jack over the phone and his knowledge and passion for the job was clear. The service was impeccable and I could not fault anything with the transaction. I too run my own business and I can say without doubt Jack is a model employee and will hopefully be the owner or certainly the manager one day (if he isn't already). The courtesy and politeness of Jack was second to none, he assisted in my purchase with utmost priority, my watch was gift wrapped and sent first class with lots of protective packaging (the best i've seen) the service I experienced simply could not be beat. Fantastic from start to finish and I can't recommend this company highly enough, well done in the harsh climate and I wish you all the luck and prosperity in the world. Ryan.
Took some jewellery in to be valued . Total jobs worth’s. We were told (my wife and myself both were there and heard this) to leave it and someone will ring you tomorrow pm. We waited for the call that never came so we rung them to find out what was going on only to be very abruptly told we don’t ring people back. My wife has gone over today to get the estimate. She mentioned the terrible service again only to be faced with more terrible service as the 2 assistants one of them the valuer I believe started telling my wife we don’t ring people back you are in the wrong. My wife left feeling that she was in the wrong. Won’t be going in there again. She also asked for the value to be broken into 2 lots. It wasn’t and when she questioned this the lady in the shop said to my wife “do you know how many valuations I have to do” absolutely terrible. The owners need to invest in some customer service training
Purchased a watch on Christmas Eve. Knowledgable staff had plenty of time for me going through options, styles, brands and price points until I found something that fitted the bill. Great service, I’m very pleased and would highly recommend!
Very helpful on first visit and when collecting the ordered watch a week later still helpful. We ordered another watch for the following week, and when we turned up we were advised that the salesperson was on lunch and to come back at 2.15, only to be ignored when we came back. Very strange customer service or lack of. We emailed and received no response so we phoned. Strangely to be advised that there were other customers in front of us even though we had an appointment to collect the pre ordered watch. The manager also suggested that because we had been attended to for over an hour on a previous visit it was implied that we had taken up too much of their time. We are still speechless as to how we could not be attended to when arriving to collect another watch. We made an arrangement with the manager to call in later in the week and the watch salesperson was very cold and after a brief discussion concerning the connection of the watch to our phone and no mention of the ordered watch, refunded the original purchase price. Still very baffled and slightly upset as to why we were treated this way.
