On Saturday 11 October, I was a desperate Mother of the Groom who had been searching for days to find a make-up artist & hair stylist who could work on a Sunday. After almost losing hope, I telephoned Brown's and spoke to a polite & extremely charming Romilly, on the Clinique counter. I advised it was my Son's wedding the following day and asked whether she would be available for a make-up trial that afternoon, and to re-create the look on the Sunday. Romilly was eager to help & very quickly agreed. It was a tad exciting for us both! From the moment I stepped into the store, I was quite literally treated like a celebrity. Romilly listened to my needs & brought her personal flair & expertise to the finished wedding look. Her store colleagues heard about my journey, and rallied together to assist & offer words of encouragement. I am quite an anxious person when in the limelight, but every single staff member helped me to relax & enjoy every moment ❤ I even used the dressing room at Brown's to change into my wedding outfit before travelling to the ceremony @ The Oaklands xx Sharon on Clarins... Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! When hearing of my plight finding a hair stylist on the wedding day, she offered to come in - on her day off! - to create the most perfect voluminous curls to enhance my chosen fascinator. Not only that, her prior skills as a nail technician were also put to good use (cheekingly & at late notice!) ❤ xx Romilly... I am so, SO grateful & thankful for your thoughtfulness, kindness & patience (especially with the lip colour! 😂). I really don't know where I would have been - or what I would have looked like! 🤡 - without your attentive service. You absolutely ROCK! ❤ xx Sunday 12 October 2025 will not only be memorable for my Son & Daughter-in-Law's wedding day, but also for my first - and hopefully not last - experience of Browns ❤ Your fabulous staff are a credit to the store. Absolutely faultless shopping experience. Looking for gifts for my nieces and I wasn't really sure what to buy. I headed for the Clarins department and was greeted by the most helpful lady. From that moment onwards it was plain sailing. I left the store with two of the most beautifully wrapped, presented gifts you could wish for. Thank you so much. 👌👌👌👌👌👌

I went into Brown's today to look at the foundations on The Estee Lauder department. I was served by Sarah who was so lovely. She was really patient and not pushy whatsoever. I couldn't decide whether to purchase one, however Sarah kindly gave me some samples to try at home. She made me feel really comfortable and when I do decide I'll definitely go back to her. I really hope she receives this review and that she is recognised for her customer service.

Superb customer service in the make up department from a lovely French lady. Warm, welcoming, charming and professional. Very helpful, one to one service and knowledgeable.

This store is not big but fits your needs. It has many counter-brand cosmetics and fancy stuff for males and females, such as Coach, Guess, Kipling etc. Staffs were friendly and helpful. There are two floors; cosmetics, bags, and lingerie were the ground floor. The first floor has clothes from various brands and the cafe as well
