Newbegin B&B

Very enjoyable stay, with location being central Beverley. Private car park. Stay in a unique listed building with many original Georgian features. Multi-choice breakfast prepared by the attentive hosts. Just a fabulous experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at Newbegin House from Thurs the 29th to Sat the 31st of August for my wife's birthday and were treated to real hospitality from Walter and the team. The breakfast on its own is enough reason to come again, but our room (we had the Drawing Room) was enoooormous! It spans the full width of the house and would be called a suite in any other guest house/ hotel. The building is filled with character furniture and furnishings in keeping with the age of the building. The centre of Beverley is only a matter of metres away so you couldn't be better located. The onsite parking is also another bonus in a town where parking is at a premium, we were able to check in at about 1pm and Walter was waiting with a pot of freshly brewed coffee for us! There are many other reasons to stay here but the best way to find out is go stay there yourself! We will definitely be going back again (and again)....

A fabulous place to stay: a beautiful Georgian house in a lovely, large garden, right in the centre of the historic town of Beverley, yet quiet and peaceful. Superbly welcoming hosts, large, well-equipped, ensuite bedrooms, full of character, like the owners. Breakfasts, in the elegant dining room, are exceptional both in quality and quantity. Beverley's many excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance. All that and exceptional value too.

A real gem of a B&B. Delightful Georgian property just 2 minutes walk from town centre. Breakfast is spot on full Yorkshire. Will definitely come back. The host's Walter and Nuala are very friendly and accommodating

This place was amazing , couldn't have stayed in a more special b&b than this, full of wonderful charm and character, Walter and his lovely wife were the perfect hosts, they couldn't do enough for you. Then came the Yorkshire breakfast, what can I say. Got a feeling I'm going to regret this review as I'm sure me and Lisa are going to struggle to get another booking there it's that good . Can't keep it to our selves though, so yes stay there 👍
