North Bar

We lived in Beverley for some 2 years and it will always hold fond memories for us. A classic 'Market Town' that dates back to the 1400's - where the original town gates to the city still survive. The room above the bar is accessed from North Bar House.

Beverly bar dates back to the 1400s. This grade one listed structure is in excellent condition. Beverley is one of only a few places where the gates to the city still survive. Apart from defence it was originally used to collect tolls into the town. The room above the bar is accessed from North Bar House.

Beverly is a lovely historic old town with St Mary's Church and the magnificent Beverly minsterto name a few.

Very interesting place. Could do with more information being available locally. Would be interesting to visit upstairs.
