The Market Cross

The market cross in Beverley is the focal point of the Saturday market. There is plenty of parking here except on Saturdays when the market is on. It is an excellent market with a large variety of stalls. On the middle Wednesday in June, there is a big classic car show attracting very large crowds.

Very nice piece of architecture in the centre of Beverley. Unfortunately littered with cheap tables and chairs from a cafe that makes the cross look scruffy, able to cut them out of photos if you get the angle right

Fabulous market square in Beverley, the bandstand is a great place to watch the Christmas parade from.
