This is a lovely, accessible art gallery next to the little museum and cafe on the first floor of the recently reopened Treasure House. Lots of local art and there’s usually some sort of photographic display on the corridor leading to the gallery. The first room has a static display of art by artists such as Fred Ewell; there’s also a few sculptures, an electronic display board with info about the exhibition and also some children friendly areas. The far room hosts temporary exhibitions, currently work by Phil White. I highly recommend visiting!
Really interesting place. The current Lego exhibition is great. The museum is quirky and interesting. Good place to take the grandchildren
First time visit and it was amazing so much for the kids to do and the lego exhibition
Nice displays and great exhibition programme. I even spoke to the curator, Hannah and she has some great ideas for the future.
Small gallery, worth a visit. Also has a museum of Berverley artefacts over the centuries. Both are free.
