Came here for the Beverly big comedy night, great theatre. Just the right size for a comedy gig, good view from all seating positions. Stage is quite large. there is a nice little bar waiting area. Lovely well kept building. Love everything about it, only negative thing is it could do with air-con as it was absolutely roasting hot on the night (Maybe its not possible to add this due to it being grade II listed). Glad I brought a little electric fan. It was built as a Baptist chapel in 1910 and converted into a theatre in 2014. Highly recommend this venue. I look forward to attending again at another comedy evening.
What a beautiful venue. It's a wonderful place for theatre, comedy and music. It feels very quaint and not commercial at all and it's run by some very friendly volunteers. Lovely bar with a large selection of locally brewed beers and a large selection of 0% alcohol drinks. My wife and I really are in love with this venue.
First class venue. Excellent staff very helpful well organised. Full house for the show. International Guitarist The Galician King of Accoustic Guitar "Iago Banet" Incredibly talented entertainer Bet he gets booked back, Amazing guitarist! New venue for me i shall be keeping a close eye on what's on. Super venue!!
Small local Theatre, open for great productions of various genres, from comedy, to art exhibitions, music and plays all under one roof, a not for profit organisation and registered charity giving enjoyment to all. Opportunities for volunteers as well as becoming a "friend" with discount benefits. Very realistic priced cafe in a friendly environment.
I adore coming to this theatre; such a wonderful atmosphere, and the productions have always been top notch. Very pleased to be able to support She Productions at ERT in particular, as well as their new relationship with Forbidden Theatre! Marvellous venue, thank you
