Feels like a proper village pub - you wouldn’t know you were just down the road from the city. Being from a village myself, it’s been lovely to find a little bit of home in the town 😊
Not a place I’ll be returning to. Took awhile to get served as the staff were to busy talking to the regulars( and even served one as I was standing there) then I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience, went outside only to be met with the smell of vomit from a planter.
Felt like a pub used to feel like in the 80's
1st visit yesterday with partner and family members. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Locals chatted with us and made us feel welcome. We'll definitely be back. Has more of a traditional pub feel which has charm.
Great little pub, Gaynor is a wonderful landlady. Please come visit. Nice pint enjoy.
